Our friend and fellow LCM Menswear designer Patrick Grant of E Tautz (and The Great British Sewing Bee fame) contacted me a few days before our show to chat about the EU Referendum and importantly whether or not we were thinking of wearing the Wolfgang Tillmans T 'or I was thinking of something you could see from a mile away...'
Sid and I were then sent Ts emblazoned with the word IN on the front which after a bit of umming and ahhhing on the day we decided 'sod it, we said yes, let's do it!'
Little did we know that the picture of Sid and I at the end of a catwalk, standing proudly in front of our wonderful #SIBLINGsquad would find it's way to the business section of the New York Times and then shared across Instagram and other publications such as Vogue, Harper's, Dezeen and Madame Figaro.
Are you IN or OUT?
'SIBLING is all about being inclusive. You can't write SIBLING or knit without using the word IN. We sell in Europe, we work with European factories and, closer to home many of our friends and our models come from Europe. We strongly believe that we are stronger in and that being in only strengthens our unity on the World stage a stage that at the moment post Orlando, post Paris and post Brussels feels very precarious'
